it’s the little things in life that make it worth living….but all the little things add up to a total life style.
a life style that gives one the freedom to wake up each day and plan their own priorities, to control their own time, and thus their own mind. no boss to direct a person’s thoughts is a precious form of freedom….a form of freedom that loosens the ties to the mundane. when one has the freedom to focus their mind in their chosen direction, they are on the path to self realization…which after all is the ultimate goal of life!
They do make my day…. http://susansheehan.wordpress.com/2008/01/25/its-the-little-things/

Gratitude makes more blessings!
I love glass for the sensory aspects – I may need to make the little things a regular part of my blog- there were so many things as I started thinking about every time I stop during the day to remind myself what a great job I have

I try not to take it for granted that I can just wake up on a Tuesday and decide to just take off and go into New Orleans, or the gulf beaches, or just out to lunch and never think twice about it.

One of my favorite things about glass is the great people I’ve met!

I trick myself to enjoy the little things that I usually don’t enjoy very much at all.

I enjoy most all of the aspects of my glass and my business, even the most mundane. I find that while I enjoy the obvious part of creating beads and playing with new colors, techniques and styles….

I don’t really have a full fledged BUSINESS yet, as I work full time in computers, and have 3 kids to chauffeur around… So, my favorite little glassy things are new packages of glass that I receive in the mail- to read more go here:

This is a stumper — there’s not much about playing with glass that I don’t enjoy.

I love to photograph my glass in the late afternoon sun. There’s nothing like it…
